Description: Polyrachis Ammon are the most common Polyrachis Ant in Australia. Their abdomens are covered with beautiful shiny golden hairs but be careful, Polyrachis actually means 'many spines' in Latin, and these ants have small sharp spines along their backs. Care is required when handling them.
