Colony: Mainly Monogyne (one queen per colony). Average 5000 workers per colony.

Founding Queen: Fully Claustral (without feeding)

Sizes: Queen 14mm-16mm | Worker 5mm-12mm

Bite/Sting/Formic Acid: Queen and Majors may bite

Difficulty: Intermediate

Description: Camponotus Consibrinus are commonly called bull ants by many people, but are infact not bull ants at all, as they have no sting or venom. Banded Sugar Ants can spray formic acid and the Solder Ants (called Super Majors) can deliver a pinch bite when afraid. They are usually nocturnal but will sometimes be active during the day.
